Hi,
My perfdata.log is complaining (a lot) about:
RRDs::update ERROR rrdcached: illegal attempt to update using time <timestamp> when the last update time is <timestamp> (minimum one second step)
I have tried increasing the sleep_time in /opt/omd/sitest/<sitename>/icinga.d/timing.cfg to 5 seconds but it seems to have no effect.
I have also tried increasing the WRITE_THREADS in /opt/omd/sitest/<sitename>/etc/rrdcached.conf to 20 and even tried commenting the value out. Both to no avail.
Some forums have suggested the RRD database needs deleting and rebuilding?
My Check_MK instance also frequently has a number of services (up to 2000) in a stale state. The instance is monitoring approx. 70 servers and switches. I don't know whether this issue is related or not to the RRD errors.
I'm sure these are configuration errors somewhere, but I'm not sure where. If someone has any suggestions, that would be great.
