Have you tried importing the MIB file provided by Allied Telesis? If that doesn’t work you may need to write a custom check.

Here should give you the needed info https://mathias-kettner.com/checkmk_devel_snmpbased.html

You cannot import MIB files to generate new checks.
Importing MIBs is only for translating SNMP traps in the Event Console.

Hey,

we have also some allied telesis switches.
they are using as interface type "6 - ethernetCsmacd".
you have to add this to the rule "Network Interface and Switch Port
Discovery".

we had those switches on different firmware versions running and noticed,
that pretty old firmware does not report interface statistics.

now we run all of them on the latest version available -> AlliedWare Plus
(TM) 2.4.1.9
and getting interface statistics.

the bad news, this is all you can get out of those gears.

best,
stefan
