[Check_mk (english)] how to upgrade check_mk for OMD

Have installed omd-0.56 with yum and omd repos (centOS 6.3). This is delivered with check_mk v1.2.0p2 and for a specific problem I want to upgrade to 1.2.0p3, but have no idea how to do that.
Will simply download an install keep OMD intact?

You can use the latest MOD build or download latest cmk build and follow
the included 'doc/README.setup_in_omd'.

You should never update check_mk in an productive site.
Installing cmk into a omd site is only for testing.
Better wait for next release.

That's why I did it on my Testsystem (VM, which is an identical installation as the prod System).
Was successful on worked on the Testsystem, so I did it in the prod too.

BUT: this is a really small network I monitor with that (22 hosts, about 150 services).

Now, I do..
But from what I understood, it's doing the manual uninstall as discriped in README.setup_in_omd and restore the last wato backup I did before the update from cmk 2.1.0p2 to 2.1.0p3?
