[Check_mk (english)] "Activate Changes" Not Working for WATO Changes

I've got another fairly "new to OMD" question that I'm curious if anyone
has run into.

In attempting to setup my Distributed Monitoring configuration, whenever I
click the "Activate Changes" button, it fails to actually activate the
change, and the one change that I am looking for continues to just show up
underneath the "changes waiting to be made" section of the changes page.

What log file should I be looking at to see why it might have failed to
actually activate this change?

Is the activation failing on a slave site? If so, it sounds like maybe you
haven't logged into the slave site via the 'Distributed Monitoring' Module
in WATO.
