Hi Ivan,

inside the rules search for "Monitoring Configuration" -> "Notifications"
-> "Delay host/service notifications" or under "Service Checks"/"Host
Checks" -> "Maximum number of check attempts for service/host" the first
rule delays the notification sending and the second delays the generation
of notifications.
Pay attention if you combine booth types, you can get a huge delay before
something is sent.

Best regards
Andreas

This is perfectly normal. Until the maximum number of
check attempts have not been reached the service problem
will be displayed in a so called "SOFT" state.

The notification will only be created when the "HARD"
state is reached (after 10 tries in your case).

Normally you want to see problems early but only get
notifications when the issue is ongoing.

Or you can filter the soft states from your display. I do this on
Problems only active for 1 or 2 minutes.
If a problem is stable and longer active then 5 minutes (in your case
10 minutes) it shown on the big screen with active problems.
