This looks like some other problem.
with a empty user account if the problem persist.
It looks like a problem with your user role but I'm not sure.

this seems to be a bug in version 1.5.0p8,
itâs also not possible to view host/service
details or services of a host.
Apparently this only affects the CRE version,
CEE is working fine for me.

i just upgraded from 1.5.0p7 to 1.5.0p8 on
Ubuntu 18.04. Everything went fine, except the
action menu for log files won't open anymore.
There is just a thin bar appearing, i
attached a screenshot.
What i've tried: all browsers available for
macOS Mojave, clearing browser data.
No help unfortunately except downgrading to
1.5.0p7 again
